Our room was $19.99 per night on special, but once taxes and resort fees were added it became $36.89 per night. Yes, the advertised rates are low, and yes, you have to remember to add for resort fees and taxes.
We stayed for two nights for the second time in 5 months (at my wife's suggestion), so I know it got her approval.
